Description: Bring the familly and watch a fireworks
display by the twice British Champions, local firework display and firework
manufacturing company Shellscape who also represent the UK at International display competitions in Europe. Come and see some of their latest unique designs
including new colours and strobe fireworks at Cookham Scouts Firework display.
Gates open 5:30pm. Fire lighting Ceremony is at 6:30pm. The bonfire is normally
the size of a small house. The firework display starts when the bonfire has
burned down sufficiently to enable the display to be seen. Includes a parade of
Guys and There is a refreshment tent serving hot drinks including mulled wine
and food. Tickets are £6 on the night, or £5 from Country Store or Village
Hardware in Cookham. Children under 5 and OAP's FREE!!! No personal fireworks
or sparklers please for everyone's safety. However, light sticks and other
flashing hand held devices can be purchased on the field. Most people in the
village walk down Mill Lane
but there is car parking available for those who live too far away. A one way
system operates down mill Lane on the evening of the fireworks one way in
before the event and one way out after the event though getting away can take a
while if you leave immediately after the fireworks finish.
