Robert Scott Cubs raise £100 for Longridge

Last night Robert Scott Cubs presented £100 to Graham Bucknell of the Longridge Scout Boating Centre.  The money goes towards saving Longridge as a boating centre for local young people - see Friends of Longridge

The money was raised by the Cubs at their annual 'Bring and Buy' evening. The Cubs sold cakes, toys, books and organised a raffle and tombola.  The Cubs set everything up and then later invited parents, families and friends to attend and 'spend'.  The event was held on a normal Cub evening at the Scout Hut.  David Livingstone Cubs are having their 'Bring and Buy' tonight so we all wish them the best of luck.
